DiggLook like it’s still a rumors but anyway, Digg is ready to be sell out.And likely, they are 2 news media company and two giant search engine Google and Microsoft, are ready to take of Digg.

Digg is prepared to take less than the $300 million Allen & Co. were floating late last year. Google, our source says, will likely bid $200-$225 million, which Digg would likely accept. Microsoft expect that the price tag to be a slightly lower since all the revenue for Digg come in the advertising deal with Microsoft last year that has revenue guarantees.

Any sale is likely to give Microsoft an option to terminate that advertising deal, which means Google isn’t valuing Digg based on revenue, either. But it is a big slap in the face to Microsoft to steal Digg away, and Google can certainly generate revenue on all those page views.

In my opinion, the suitable buyer must not be Google or Microsoft. For this user base generated content news, a news media company likely suitable for this position. But Microsoft slightly have a better chance since the advertising deal friendship alike, and the ability of Microsoft as a software company, could develop Digg to  enhance user experience and the accuracy for the news and it’s relevancy. What about you guys? Which company could hand on Digg?

update: Seem’s it’s not accurate reported by Jay Adelson..Inaccurate? I love this drama.
