Nuffnang had moved forward to revealed their click rating system.Apart from this launch, Nuffnang never tell or reveal how they rate their publishers but yesterday, they were launching Click-Rating system that will rate how well or how badly a blog has performed in terms of CTR in the previous ad campaigns.

The click-rating ranges from 1 to 5 levels. 5 being the best, and 1 being the lowest. Each week the Click-rating will be updated based on the campaign that ran in the previous week. If there was no campaign in the previous week then there will be no change in the Click-Rating of a blog.

At least now, their publishers know how their ads perform and it will give some acknowledgment for them to maximize and give their ads placement more optimize to get higher CTR. I think it’s awesome leap for Nuffnang and also to their publishers. But, I not totally agree with them. Higher CTR, you get more advertisers to come. And it’s not accurate for some reason.

Perhaps, Nuffnang should conduct their advertisers to put ads, where the ads are related to what are the advertisers want.Just don’t simply put an ads to blogs that they consider getting higher CTR. You put the ads at the right blog, sure you can get higher CTR and it will benefit both of advertisers and publishers.
